2 months ago i was struck in ribs by a 30ft steal beam and my knee bent sideways a bit and i still need a knee brace just to walk xray showed nothing?

If you injured a -: -ligament it will not be seen on regular X rays. See an orthopedic surgeon for a hands on eval as well as imaging. That may give you the answer, whether or not surgical solutions can help depends on what structures are damaged.
