A member asked:

If you don't get post exposure pep for rabies untill 12 days after the possible exposure what are the chances of it working?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Still can.: Obviously, the sooner the better but since, although rare, the incubation period can be quite long, pep should still be given for the appropriate exposure.
