Heard a small squeaky/chirpy sound last afternoon, i don't know the source. i woke up with a tiny red bump on my leg which is irritated, just barely painful. i haven't seen a bat, but i'm concerned i could have been bitten by one and need rabies pep?

Contact your local health department for guidance. Rabies activity is monitored by regions in the US & they have the data & usually control the supply of PEP. A call to a local ER may also help. Some areas of the US do not have any rabies activity while in others it is.
