I am an endometreosis patient. Is it normal for me to feel knots below my belly button when I'm on my menstrual cycle? The knots are painful to touch

May be implants: If you have had surgery, especially laparoscopic surgery, the painful knots at your belly button when you are on your period may be implants of endometriosis ( endometriomas) and are not normal. Talk to your GYN about this. They may need to be removed. Hope this helps.

Hormones or surgery: Hormones may control this pain, but you might need a surgery to eliminate as much disease as is seen or to remove adhesions.
