Probably Not: D-Dimer is a presumptive diagnostic with many false positives. Meaning if neg then no further tests are necessary, but if positive the follow up with CT Angio chest and u/s legs. If these are neg than unlikely PE. The Gold Stadard is a Pulmonary angiogram
