Hyperactive child : It depend on the age of the child . If he is old enough your pediatrician can refere him to a psychiatrist to evaluate him for ADD & hyperactivity, some children do respond to medications & counseling. At home use time out & take away toys & no TV if not behaving but not physical or verbal punishment. Good luck.
