A doctor has provided 1 answer

EMG Test: Renee: Your doctor has ordered electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing to evaluate the electrical activity of muscles and nerves. For example, carpal tunnel syndrome (median nerve compromised at the wrist joint) can present in RA and this is often confirmed with EMG / NCV. Also, EMG/NCV is used to assess spine related nerve problems. The test can is mildly uncomfortable.
