Hearing and painless: If you have no pain and your hearing is normal, then this may just be inconvenience rather than disease. If it is more than mild, you may have described some dysfunction of your eustachian tube. Sometimes other issues like allergies, frequent colds, smoking, etc. may influence the function of the tube and the accumulation of fluid in your middle ear. If severe, see ENT doc for detailed exam

Ears cracking: Sounds like it may be your jaw cracking or your ears popping. If it's not giving you pain it may not need be anything to,worry about. If it's frequent and annoying see your physician to discuss.
