Asthma flare up: He needs a check up and treatment foe an asthma flare up that includes a rescue inhaler, usually salbutamol or blue and a controller medication, for him likely an oral steroid if he hasn't been on a controller inhaler such as Flovent daily for 6 weeks or more. Keep a record of his flare ups to know how to treat his asthma best. I hope he feels better. See his doctor soon.

ER or urgent care: to help you with the asthma flare you currently suffer from, later, you need to be put on long term controller therapy with an asthma action plan, see an allergist, check aaaai.org or acaai.org for an allergist in your area
