May be asthma: Cough and wheeze are symptoms of asthma, but also of other diseases. Getting lightheaded when performing a breathing test is not unusual and does not aid in making a diagnosis. Diseases to consider include also nasal and sinus disease, including allergy; gastric acid reflux, with or without asthma. The problem may also be in the larynx. See a board-certified allergist first and go from there.
