See below: Per who (world health organization) recs, give small amounts of clear fluid (rehydration formulas) like pedialyte or even gatorade/poweraid (although they have more sugar than the other formulas) every 10 minute (about 5-10 cc or 1 -2 tsp) over an hour or so and then, if tolerated, increase volume. If not tolerated, get seen.

Food poisoning: If they are both seriously ill and weak after ingesting a canned food, get them to an er. They are likely suffering from food poisoning. Although rare, botulism and certain strains of e coli can occur which can be life threatening. Get to a doctor.
