A member asked:

Is it safe to fly on a plane with a deviated septum? i suffer with sinus barotrauma.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The only issue on plane flight is pressure equalization when there is a blocked passageway. Deviated septae cause breathing obstruction but not blockage so flying is perfectly safe with this condition.
