Complex situation: Helping a woman with polycystic ovary syndrome to conceive is challenging.Letrozole may be used to try to suppress estrogen, promoting the pituitary gland's secretion of follicle stimulating hormone. It is hoped this will result in ovulation. Dydrogestrone is a progesterone used to regulate periods. Hard to predict if more cysts would develop but possible. Your treating doctor has your best advice
