Not herpes: Herpes does not look like a 1" scratch. No sex ever???? means no herpes. If you wonder about it there are cultures and blood tests to aid diagnosis.

Not herpes: No worries about herpes. You may be mixing up "scratch" with "itch". When people are diagnosed with genital herpes without previous symptoms, some remember they've had occasional genital itching, maybe unrecognized herpes outbreaks. Not the same as seeing a scratch. Maybe you scratched yourself while sleeping. You can't have genital herpes without having had sex.
