Eczema: This dry skin condition can be frustrating but in some cases a good and regular use of moisturizing lotion can really go a long way to making the problem manageable.

Keep skin dry: Although it is not always possible, eczema does better if the skin is kept dry. (when wetness on hands evaporates, it takes moisture in the skin out more). If he doesn't have to wash his hands often, great - he's half-way there. The other thing to do is to get a steroid cream. Start with an otc steroid cream; if that doesn't work, then increase the strength with a prescription from your fp.
