Strangulated hernia: Incarcerated hernia refers to one that won't go back or return to normal. Strangulated means lack of blood supply. Either way, you need to get it repaired now as it's no longer an elective operation but rather an emergent one. So go to ER now - have someone take you. Do not wait to see if it will resolve. This is not a condition for online care. You can die if you wait . . .

Need decompression: The nature of the GI tract allows food that is processed in the stomach and small bowel to have nutrients absorbed and remaining GI content to pass to the large bowel, absorb fluid and pass to the rectum. By catching a loop of small bowel in a hernia, the continuity of bowel is interrupted and stool and gas cant pass.. Strangulated bowel can undergo necrosis and perforate. Surgery needed.

Hernia: Suggest you seek care at a large teaching hospital and have your self seen and treated. A strangulated hernia is a surgical emergency and needs urgent intervention. A visit to the ER is best option at a large teaching hospital if possible or the closest hospital you can seek care.
