Is it better to be on one or the other when it comes to wellbutrin (bupropion) xl and adderall?

These are two: different classes of meds. Wellbutrin (bupropion) is an atypical antidepressant with stimulant side effects (sometimes), which is why it is (sometimes) used to treat ADHD. Adderall is a stimulant with two types of amphetamines and is not used to modify moods. It more likely will cause lower moods when coming off it but will aid in alertness during its active phase.
