A member asked:

Prescribed 60 mg of generic adderall ir and generic wellbutrin (bupropion) xl 150 mg, i feel like the wellbutrin (bupropion) is decreasing the effectiveness of the adderall?

Wellbutrin (bupropion) & adderal: The 2 meds could interact, as Wellbutrin (bupropion) does have some ability to help with concentration, and it wouldn't necessarily be an additive effect with addeerall. Too much of something can sometimes not work. Please talk to a Psychiatrist before just changing meds on your own. If you have been getting the meds from a regular Physician, please see a Psychiatrist. Any combo psych meds shd be Psychiatrist

Carefull w high dose: 60 mg is on the high side for Adderal . There may be appropriate use at that level for some people but I would be sure to discuss it in detail with your doctor and consider a second opinion.
