Can lung cancer cause a palpable lymph node on the rib cage (specifically lower left rib cage)?

Not a lymph node: There are no lymph nodes at the location you describe, so what you are referring to may be a soft tissue mass like lipoma lung cancer can spread to lymph nodes inside the chest or to those above the clavicle (collarbone) or in the armpit
