Tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever: Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not for colds, it'it's for fever or pain. Children under the age of 4 years old should not be given cold medications since they are at an increased risk of side effects. A 2 month old sick child has an increased risk of having a serious illness and you should take her to see a doctor.
