Do i have to be at the test center at a specific time for an am cortisol test? i remember that for one of my pituitary tests, timing was crucial.

Yes: Best time to do cortisol level is 7am. But you check with your physician. The reason is:Normally, cortisol levels rise during the early morning hours and are highest about 7 a.m. They drop very low in the evening and during the early phase of sleep.
