High fever: Symptoms of Paratyphoid are usually milder and lasts for fewer days. In Typhoid, you get a persistent high fever that can only slightly ease off with fever measures and medications. Unless treated, Typhoid symptoms last for at least three weeks and drain out the patient completely.
