No: These type of polyps do not turn to cancer. That doesn't mean the cancer couldn't develop. Just the fact that your grandfather had stomach cancer does not pose a great risk to you most likely. Follow the recommendations of the doctor that did the endoscopy. If you're worried, you could always have the study Repeated In five years or so. Hope this helps!
