Depends: The bone may be broken, but you will need to have an x-ray taken to be certain.

MORE INFO NEEDED: I would need much more information to answer-type of pain? How long ago? Sudden or gradual onset/trauma? Getting better/worse? What aggravates it? OTC analgesics helpful? Only an x-ray will help anyone know for sure regarding if it's broken. Regards, Dr. Latva
