What then?: Your illness does not sound like acute HIV infection, and I am also going to assume that you had a nucleic acid test and it was nonreactive. Stop worrying about having caught HIV. Do not put yourself in this situation again. Be happy you are healthy. And cherish the memory of having shared love, imperfect as it always is.
