Not likely: A ct scan is not the best test for a functional bowel obstruction. A small bowel series is a better option. The cynics a one time picture and the fact that you are having diarrhea probably rules out the chance of a vowel obstruction. I think there is something else going in. Stool cultures are in order and possibly more testing.
