Many Choices: If is impossible to answer what is best insulin or oral tablet for Diabetes. There are so many choices and what is best for you, may not be best for others.And most of the patients are treated with more than one pill with or without Insulin. But one pill stands out in any combination and I call it number 1 pill for Type 2 Diabetes.And that is Metformin.It is cheap,well tolerated and weight neutral
