It means...: You have a limitation in the motion of turning your palm up to the sky when it's facing the ground. Think of supination like holding a bowl of soup.

Supination: Is the movement of the forearm in which the palm of the hand faces upwards. Pronation is when it faces downward. Limited supination may be due to a prior injury to the radius (bone of forearm that goes from thumb side to elbow) at the elbow or anywhere between elbow and wrist. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Palm up: It refers to the rotation you have in your wrist. Probation is rotation of the wrist toward the floor (Palm down), supination is rotating Palm to ceiling (Palm up). So you are not able to rotate your right Palm up to the ceiling as you can on the left side.
