Gout and CPK: Muscle enzmye -CPK does not usually rise with gout but in rare cases if on colchicine and uloric drugs used to treat gout you can have elevation of CPK. Also if someone is on a statin (used to treat high cholesterol) like lipitor (atorvastatin) can have elevation of CPK . F/U with doc http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2448456
