UTI: Urinary urgency, frequency, feelings of incomplete emptying, burning with the begining of the stream, pain in the lower abdomen. You need to have a urine culture and sensitivity in order to detect the bacteria causing the problem and determine what antibiotic can kill it. If you have frequent bladder infections >2 per year, you need to be evaluated.

Yes it can come back: Symptoms include burning urination, blood in the urine, lower abdominal , pelvic or flank pain. Be aware that vaginal infection and oral sex can contribute to it. Drinking lots of water , taking cranberry juice or tabs, & not holding the urination may prevent it.
