A member asked:

Can pain in ab, sides, lower back & nausa be symptoms of a uti?

Sure could: Any burning with urination? That usually goes with it. Pain the back may mean that it is creeping up the ureters to the kidneys. You want to be careful for that. Fever? I would get a urine test done!

Uti: Possible. Usually presents with increased frequency of urination , lower abdominal pain, burning of urine, fevers. If the infection travels to the kidney then it can cause pyelonephritis ( kidney infection), which is more serious . Your doctor will need to dispense antibiotics for both UTI and pyelonephritis.
