Warm compresses: A large painful nodular acne lesion should not be squeezed/popped. It is already ruptured under the surface of your skin. You have an infection setting in and you need to let your body deal with it. Squeezing it might spread the infection or make it worse. You can try to apply warm wet compresses (30min at a time) to the site and see if this drains it. See a doc if not resolving in 7 days.
