A member asked:

How much should blood pressure vary? i understand it fluctuates. does this happen with/without medication?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BP varies: BP can vary a lot depending upon medications ( including over the counter meds, non prescription, recreational drugs and alcohol), state of excitement, exercise, state of hydration, etc. "Normal" people can have BP that varies from approx 90/60 to 200/100 depending on circumstance. A common cause of fluctuation is difference in technique in BP measurement.
