Ive had diarrhea every day for years. My PCP says I might have colitis, but I really dont want to get a colonoscopy. What could my problem be?
I have had very loose stools to diarrhea daily for 8 years. I also have bloating, pain, gas and weight gain. I was diagnosed with SIBO, finally tried Xyfaxan but no relief. Now Dr says I might have microscopic colitis. But, what about the weight gain?

Have been taking cholestyramine powder daily 4g for almost 14 years now for collagenous colitis. If I miss a dose suffer severe cramps and watery diarrhea. I am concerned about the safety of taking it daily for life and is there anything i need to do?
30 years ago i was told i had colitis, 20 years ago ibs, 6 months ago its actually severe epi. Been on 2 types of creon, still got severe diarrhea.
