My friend was just diagnosed with gastritis after a vacation we shared. we had been sharing drinks and food. it was caused by a bacteria. should i be worried?

There is: a bacteria called Heliobacter pylori that causes gastritis. I f you were exposed, please ask your doctor to order the H. pylori Breath test. , done at most labs. If positive , treatment is recommended.
