Concerned: Although the risk is there, each individuals immune system is different. Perhaps you should be sick, but your body is able to fight it off. Be alert for any similar signs and get to the MD as needed right away. Also, it might have been something eaten which you did not have / share. Good Luck.

There is: a bacteria called Heliobacter pylori that causes gastritis. I f you were exposed, please ask your doctor to order the H. pylori Breath test. , done at most labs. If positive , treatment is recommended.
