Need Further W/U: A variety of problems that could produce these symptoms. The menstrual cycle is controlled by multiple organs and glands from the brain to ovaries and uterus. Other medical problems can also sometimes cause your period to stop. You need an additional work-up including a good history, endocrine (hormonal) testing and possibly imaging. The path from there can be determined based on the results.
