This : This is something that needs to be managed by your ob/gyn and neurologist. Morphine is a class c pregnancy category which means that animal studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus, but not enough human studies have been done. Most doctors feel that the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite potential risks, which sounds like your case. Please follow up with your providers. I hope you find relief.

Consult your MD: If you are pregnant you should consult your pharmacist or ob/gyn for permission to take any medication, especially during the first ten weeks of pregnancy when all the organs of the fetus are forming.
