Knee arthritis: If you do not want knee replacement or are not a candidate for any given reason, there is a procedure called Genicular nerve ablation which will relieve the pain for about a year at a time. Try to find a pain physician in your area. Much better than getting steroid injections on a regular basis. It makes your knee joint numb so you won't feel any pain and is a very safe and effective procedure.

Tricky Q: Sounds like you have more than just run-of-the-mill arthritis if you're taking methotrexate, which is more often prescribed for rheumatoid arthritis. Of note, you listed temporal arteritis & polymyalgia rheumatica which are managed w/oral steroids. Typically your Orthopedic Surgeon or Sports Medicine doc will give steroid shots quarterly. Watch out for diabetes & osteoporosis plus other complicati
