Post op instructions: Your surgeon or assistant should really have gone over this with you.

Carefully: Draw some warm water/salt water (1 tsp/8-10 oz water) into the syringe. Carefully aim it near the sockets but do not contact the healing area. Gently squeeze out the water in a slow pulsing movement. This will help dislodge any debris in the socket when properly done. You may do this after eating. Call the Surgeon's office and verify this technique AND when to start. Too soon =dry socket.Good Luck

Mouth irrigator: If your doctor advises this type of treatment, use this after meals and at bedtime. Make sure to get the tip of the syringe close to the surgery site flush it out. You can also use it to flush out your other teeth. If concerned, call your doctor for post-op appointment.
