Very imp: I think it is absolutely wrong. First your platelets should be brought down by using Hydrea (hydroxyurea) and then surgery performed otherwise your risk of having a thromboembolic event ( meaning a blood clot, stroke, tia, heart attack) is extremely high with platelets over a million.
