Eat right. Exercise.: This is one we all struggle with. The best course of action is to eat right and exercise. See your doctor before you start a new diet or exercise regimen. The doctor may be able to put you on the right path. Spending some time with a dietician or nutritionist may also help.

Diet and exercise.: In general, cardiovascular exercise on most days of the week, choose natural foods low in fat and cholesterol, limit sodium to 2000mg daily, shoot for 35 grams of fiber daily. Focus on lean proteins (nothing fried), fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and cereals. Fish (grilled, baked, broiled) will help lower cholesterol and raise the good HDL cholesterol.
