Still with residual: Some types of malaria and if with inadvertent Near adequate treatment can show persistent disease over long periods. Typhoid usually responds to therapy well unless bacteria is resistant. Best visit your local clinic or doctor to reassess your illness and probably rethink any combination of drugs that are effective and tests if available.

Infection: You really need to see a tropical disease clinic in your area. Your physicians in Nigeria may have better insight into the resistance patterns of either malaria or typhoid and can retest to see if you have a resistant infection or another tropical disease. Both these infections have developed resistance and that may be the issue. Suggest see a physician at the local university hospital.
