Likely mittleschmerz: Many women feel small pains around ovulation, before-during-or after - its called mittleschmerz. Individual women choose different words to describe it, you say 'cramp-like' - many in my practice describe 'pinging' or 'pinching.' it doesn't mean you have or have not ovulated yet, just that its around the time it would be happening.
