I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and am taking dicyclomine to deal with it for over a month. is it dangerous long term?

Dicyclomine : The only problem is the side effects which include rapid heart beat dry mouth and sometimes difficulty with urination. Long term use can result in tachyphylaxsis which means the medicine may stop working.
