I have had a bad cold for over 2 weeks, but last night my left ear became congested and very painful and my left eye/left side of my face hurt. ?

Blocked left: eustachian tube is probably the culprit. It raises the pressure in the middle ear and also can cause an infection in the middle ear because of trapped mucus. I suspect the left eye and face pain is a referred pain from the left ear but i can not be sure . Try sudafed otc pill by mouth and afrin nasal spray otc and see if it will help for 3 days. If nothing changes see your doctor.
