Several causes: Pressure is either from transient blood pressure increases during the cough causing swelling of the sinus linings or temporary distension of the veins inside the skull which are very sensitive (cough headache). May also have sinus inflammation which can cause head discomfort that can worsen with cough. If the pressure persists after the cough has gone, see md.
