No, but...: Being pregnant is not unusually dangerous, but it is more dangerous than not being pregnant (a few pregnant women will die from pregnancy-related problems, but that's the way nature is). At age 38, the chances of birth defects are also higher. The usual recommendation is: meet the right person, date for a while, get engaged, get married and settle down, have lots of sex, and have some cute babies.
