Hypertension: Pulmonary hypertension is basically an increase in blood pressure in the vasculature of your lungs. Patients may be totally asymptomatic or suffer from a severe form and be in need of treatment. There are many causes of pulmonary hypertension including heart failure and various lung diseases.
