Probably improvable: If your MR is due to your MVP it might be improved by weight loss and HTN control. Weight loss might reduce the need for some medications and improve cardiac compliance which would reduce MR. If the MR is due to ruptured papillary muscle or chordae tendineae, surgery would be most likely indicated.
