Probably not: If you use something, try a topical ointment, like bacitracin or neosporin. It is very unlikely that an infection in your nose ring causes headaches. If you have fevers, double vision, or a protruding eye ball, seek attention immediately! Those three are symptoms of an infection behind the eye.
